Stay in Las Cruces instead! Go for a day trip into ElPaso.

Don't know how long you plan on staying, but we stayed at Mission RV Park last year for an overnight. It is a a park not a resort. Clean, not much grass.
Definitely in town, easy on and off of I 10. Can hear the interstate.

Take a look at Gaslight Square in Canutillo, just off I-10 north of El Paso. We stayed there a couple of years ago and found it was pretty good. Close to outlets, groceries, etc.
Hope this helps.

We usually stop at El Paso Roadrunner RV Park. Not fancy but full service. It is all gravel with tight sites.
Their on-site RV repair shop was a big help to us last year when our old power cord failed and shorted out the lights between the rv and the toad. No lost time, they came to the RV and repaired it during our brief stay.

Stayed in Anthony a few years ago it was a KOA then but not now. Really enjoyed it, it was behind the Camping World near I-10. Very convenient to both El Paso and Cruces.

Do NOT stay at Western Skys RV Park in Vado just north of El Paso.
Went to three different sites and all of them had bypassed the 50 amp breaker on the pedestal power. The office girl just shrugged her shoulders when I reported it.
The house flies are the worst I've seen anywhere in the country.

Heuco Tanks State Park is the best place if you want to be by ElPaso. We've stayed here.
