Consider Williamsburg, VA. Historic colonial setting in keeping with the holiday. Lots of other attractions and fine foods and spirits. Several good CGs in the area. If your time permits, there are other day-trip attractions in nearby Newport News, Virginia Beach, Norfolk, and Richmond.

We have done Pigeon Forge Tenn. several times for Thanksgiving. We mostly stay at River Plantation RV Park. But it is a little further than the 300 miles you want to stay under. From Wilmington (45 miles north of Cincy) to Pigeon Forge roughly 6 hour drive.

Nashville is within your mile range.
Several nice rv parks along the river.
Close to Gaylord Convention center.
We have done Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Shuttle bus service to shows, downtown, Gaylord indoor Gardens, river and light shows.

I’ll second on Nashville, I go there often during thanksgiving. The town and music strip is great,
Though not much warmer than cincy, maybe 10 degrees. And 71/65 is a easy drive.

Gaylord Convention Center is 100 percent indoors.
Tropical forest's, rivers, boat rides, restaurants, water shows, did I say Restaurants
And all decorated for Christmas.
Free, yes, its free.
Music, yes, music.

When we last stayed in Williamsburg we camped at American Heritage, convenient to the interstate for getting around.

Perhaps they meant the Christmas light show:

At the Gaylord Opryland convention center. 1 mile from your campground.
Indoor water and light shows.
Waterfalls and boat rides.
Tropical forest.
A remarkable experience year round.
Exceptional at Christmas time.
