Thanksgiving Destinations Western U.S.

Any recommendations for a good location for Thanksgiving that has RV facilities onsite or nearby? I'm particularly interested in locations in the Western US.

We like the desert. There are many RV Resorts and KOA's but we like the peace and quite of the open desert. Most often on BLM land or a mining claim owned by the group we belong to. Then the beaches are pretty nice in the off season too. Good luck and have fun.

I'm hoping to find someplace that has a nice Thanksgiving dinner or related seasonal event that we can attend. For example, Yosemite has a couple of Thanksgiving dinner opportunities. I think the lodge at Grand Canyon also has a special Thanksgiving dinner. Any others that you know about?

Had T-Day dinner at the Sunset Grill in Moab a few years ago. It was nice.

They are out there all over the country - but for us to Guess as to Where YOU want to go.........................not really very functional.

Narrow it down and then just give them a call or post with that particular location.

We have enjoyed Thanksgiving Dinner In and/or Out all over the US - One year we even Cooked the entire thing in the RV - with the Turkey on the grill (Smaller Bird) Not easy with only a convection Oven and a two burner Range

Somewhere on this forum there is a group that is getting together in North Carolina - but think that might be a bit Far for you -

Best of Luck, and enjoy the Dinner,

Many larger RV parks with a clubhouse will have a wonderful dinner to enjoy with fellow RVers. If you're a member of Escapees RV Club, their parks will have one. Quite often the next day will be invited to do it again... with those yummy leftovers.
