The Alamo!!!

Want to visit the Alamo on bikes? The town looks like it is bike friendly! Is there a day use area I can park the rig and toad and bike ride for the day close to down town?

When I was there (2008) there was a huge parking lot just North East of the Alamo. But, I'm not sure they can or will allow you to park.

While your at the Alamo, (which by the way has been rebuilt so many times it's not really the Alamo) Make sure you go to the Menger Hotel. It's where Teddy Roosevelt recruited the Rough RIders, great photo's in their bar. It's only 1 block south of the Alamo (ask any of the guards at the Alamo and they'll direct you)
