Thunderstorms and high winds forecast for western Montana

Heavy thunderstorms and high winds expected for Thursday July 24th. Just a heads up to anyone headed to glacier park.
We are in Missoula right now and heading to Columbia falls. Should die down by early evening.

Another example for why RVer's should check the weather forecast daily
and have a Weather Alert Radio. Sometimes you just need to get out of Dodge early or change your direction of travel accordingly.

This evening they had 70 mph gust outside a thunderstorm in Drummond, just east of Missoula. We are at the koa here and did get to watch a fellow hanging off his awning trying to save it.
He did save it, then tied it to a trailer hitch slug with some small yellow string.
Like they say, you can't fix stupid.

Weather radio is a must these days. I returned to my rig to hear the warning sound and tornado report. Missed us by 15 miles.
