Timber Ridge review, Cleveland GA
We are staying here through the Thanksgiving week and met a bunch of folks doing the same. This is a gorgeous place in the foothills of the Appalachians and with more amenities than most - horseback riding, boating, trails, restaurant, mini golf and more, besides the usual stuff. My wife and I are more into just enjoying the incredible fall colors rather than all the stuff, and it's perfect for that. Quiet, peaceful, and a great way to enjoy Thanksgiving (and today is my birthday too).
Really friendly staff, very well maintained place. It's our first full hookup site and I have to admit I like it. It's a private resort and we are here through Passport America - they don't normally allow PA during holiday weeks, but they made an exception for us and there's plenty of availability right now. We don't use the facilities, but if the rest of the place is any indication I'm sure they are in excellent shape.
I posted some more thoughts and a bunch of pictures on our new blog, link in my signature below. Hopefully the blog will grow over time and we'll become better writers. Happy Thanksgiving!
