Tipping CG escort

Is it customary to tip a campground escort that shows you to you site? Being a boater many dock attendants that help you into a slip and help tie up the lines expect a tip.

Hadn't really thought about it, but I have never tipped a CG guide.

Tipping CG escort

I always offered a bottle of water but never let them assist with backing in. Tallulah was the only one who was allowed. Ask her .

Hi Gheidbrink,
The short answer is no. Most are unskilled and untrained. Their guidance must be taken with a "grain of salt". Remember there is no liability on their or the CGs part. The operator of the vehicle is responsible for the vehicle.

No. They do not expect a tip. We have done our share of parking duty while volunteering.
