I’d like to direct your attention to the award-winning architecture of my birth-state, Mississippi. You could spend a year just touring these works of art.

Something else that we Southerners have is the benefit of being able to laugh at ourselves, unlike some places like Washington state. A place so completely devoid of history and character that one must always add “state” after mentioning its name lest people think you are referring to the US Capital.

Route 98 from Gulfport to Tampa could take weeks. The views are wonderful, many things to do, good food to eat. Do not waste your time bouncing down I-10, it may give you unwarranted criticism of the south, just another boring highway.

Click on link for the humor mentioned, it's awesome.
One of the pics confuses me however. I can't tell of it's a lowrider with an air bag problem or a Carolina Squat model.

LOL, I had my comeuppance years ago, DH's niece asked me where I was from I said Richmond. Her reply, Kentucky? I never knew there was a Richmond anywhere else.
