Hi Loraco,
DW and I are going to Tombstone today. My wife has been dying to go on a stagecoach ride there. (pardon the pun)
Staying in a nice park in Benson, only 20 minutes away from TS.
Have fun!

Kartchner Caverns is located close by and we really liked their tour. Very impressive and the CG at the park wasn't too bad either.

We were in Tombstone recently and it was a blast. I liked the way the town has been preserved.

Enjoy.

Tombstone was one of the greatest places I've been.

Go see boot hill while there, you will laugh at the sayings on the tombstones. And the gun fight at the corral is a blast. paul...........

We were there yesterday and ate at "The Longhorn Restaurant" on the corner in downtown.
Excellent food and service. When I handed the waitress the money for the bill she pulled out a purse and gave me my change right at the table.

There is also a great free gunfight in Oatman AZ. It was a real ghost town when I visited in the 70's, now it's a busy tourist town, but still lots of fun.

This is a very nice park (and it is a Passport America Club Park) not far from Tomstone. We stayed in this park in February. Kartchner Caverns is a state park and has a camp ground but we have not stayed there. IF you are going to Kartchner Caverns I'd suggust you get tickets online or you may end up waiting a couple of hours for an open tour. They only take small groups through and tours are spread out.
