Topsail State Park Spearfishing

We are staying at Topsail State Park in Santa Rosa, FL for about 10 days later this month.

Does anyone know if there is a good area close by to do some free diving and possibly some spearfishing?

We have been there several times and also in Destin and Fort Walton Beach ... I haven't heard of any spear fishing or diving area .... maybe some, but I haven't ever heard of any. Might want to call a visitors center in Destin and ask them.

Lots of old wrecks to dive on but you need a boat to get there or go on a dive boat. Several of them is Destin.
