Tornado West Texas
Just saw a report of a tornado in Reeves County in West Texas that wiped out an RV park. Three injured, no deaths reported.
It was quickly reported on the news.....nevertheless, prayers for the folks there.

I didn’t realize it was *that* Park: I actually called them before I came out this hitch since my location for the first half was about 70 miles closer to that by road than my base camp.
It was a nice park by oilfield standards.

We usually make a couple of trips though the Texas panhandle every year and we have run into very strong winds but have been fortunate that we have never run into a tornado.
I complained to my wife about winds strong enough to drop our mileage to the 11-12mpg figure down from 16-18mpg but this story makes me realize how fortunate we have been. I will be more careful in the future about complaining considering what could have happened.
