Can you drive a 26 foot class C RV on Trail Ridge Road through Rocky Mountain national Park? Pulling a toad? I will be there in second week in October.

Yes, you can. We've taken our 40' motorhome across. It's a BIG climb.
However, be sure to study this park website thoroughly. First, you need a reservation and Oct. dates can be purchased now. Secondly, October is getting kind of late for that elevation. Snow is likely. Have a alternative.
There are some hairpin turns, especially on the west side. But just take it easy, downshift, and use the pullouts. We have towed a small trailer over that road a couple of times, no problem.
In good weather.
