travel thoughts crossing Coutts to Yuma in November

Good morning. Looking for experiences about heading south at this time of the year. First & foremost no time lines. All the time in the world. Patience is a blessing and lots to go around. We got caught heading east from Lethbridge to Ontario last April. The storm of the century swept in and closed highways from Sask to Winnipeg. Pulled over in Wolsoley Sask and sat it out for 24 hours in minus -25C, blowing snow ect. Lucky for us we began our journey at the Costco and loaded up with copious amounts of Vodka, food, snacks. This is our 1st road trip across the US down to Yuma and asking for any thoughts travelling around 15-20 November? It does look like once you hit St George the weather warms up ect. While Im writting this would love to hear from anyone going from AZ to Florida in Mid January/Feb/March. Again lots of time to slowly cross the lower states. Many thanks...Ramdaddy.

A recent post from another Albertan covers almost every option , as he tries to avoid the mess that traffic the Salt Lake City has become.
