Trip help/ideas

My family and I ( wife and 2 kids 10 and 7) will be heading north from south louisiana to shawno wisconsin for a wedding. we are probably going to take 7-9 days on the front end to camp our way north. Any one have any ideas or reccomendations along the way as far as camgrounds and attractions to see. any help will be greatly appreciated. we will be heading out around july 8
we will be in a 34ft palomino sabre 5th wheel

Thanks

Check the website for the Great River Road
About the Great River Road - History and Overview of the National Scenic Byway along the Mississippi River

This is a network of roads that follows the Mississippi river. The route is more scenic from St. Louis northward, and is a nice drive.

I think you will be in NE Wisconsin . Wisconsin Dells is great place for kids. Can be on your way. Several nice campgrounds there too.
