One thing...doesn't your wife help you with driving? That would be a big plus for both of you to change off. The two-year-old might enjoy a different companion, too.

Planning for shorter driving days would help in the future. Everyone would be more refreshed; you could have a relaxing time at the pool or just on your patio.

No. She doesn't help with driving. She's scared of the whole thing actually. I've tried to get her to learn but she says she'll handle the kids. Haha.

I have the feeling the starter issue was heat related. The kind where after running highway speed and it heated up it got bound up in there and that's why after it cooled down it worked fine.

Thought it could have been heat too but we tried turning that coach over probably 40 times over 3 hours. Would have been cooled down by then.

There is a nice park in Half Moon bay, when you head back to San Fran. There is also a greatblittle park South of San Fran going toward Santa Cruz, Redwood resort! I thought it was a wonderful park. I wish we could have stayed more than one day. The only downside is all the gates and concrete pillars at the entrance/exit prevented my dad from getting out easily.
