Trip to the Northwest

We are going on a 8 week trip starting in Ohio and leaving on August 12th. We will spend the first 10 or 11 days driving to Yellowstone and seeing all the usual parks in South Dakota and Wyoming. Then we are going to the Merry Widow Health Mine in Basin Montana for a week so the wife can see if Health Mine might give her some relief from her chronic pain. I have 2 questions, has anyone had any experience at the Health Mine and cense we are staying at there campgrounds what is there to do in the Basin area? We are towing a Wrangler and planning exploring some of the trails in National Parks. Also when we leave there we are going up to Glacier National Park. Where is a good place to camp close that will room for a 40 motorhome?

Columbia falls has a nice rv park that's only about 30 minutes to the park.

We stayed at the Columbia Falls RV Park a few years ago. Nice place, about 20 miles from the West Glacier park entrance. There are about a dozen other RV parks of various sizes along the road.

Is Columbia Falls centrally located to see everything at Glacier? Also how many days would it take to see the major sights.

No matter where you stay it's the same distance to the other side the park and back.
Most folks seem to stay near the west enterence.
We stayed 5 days and enjoyed every one of them.
Still didn't get to go white water rafting.

Glacier Peaks RV Park is on the west side of Columbia Falls. Older park but the nicest elderly woman you will ever meet, Helen, runs owns it. Nothing fancy, but FHUs and room for big rigs. We stayed 2 weeks in our 40 MH. Close tuo Whitefish and Kalispell

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll check on availability at these once we nail our dates down.
