We stayed there in February for the first 2 weeks. I enjoyed roaming the street in "Old Town". We bought "American Flag" stickers at the license plate store. 1 left and 1 right. They have the template on their computer since I made them make me a pair. See if they still have it. Mine are 4 inches long but in retro I would have gone with a 5 inch long flag.
They charged me $10 bucks for the pair.

Now on the other hand the Checkers in the front of the place saw a murder a few weeks ago. The night manager lady was killed by a perp. according to the local TV News stations.

We just left Tropical Palms March 29/05 it is also good for bike riding around the area without crossing 192. All behind Old Town and that whole area is interconnected via drive ways on both sides of Old Town. Weather was great, sunny warm, but we paid for that with wind and rain on the way north and unrelenting heavy traffic.
