Tub Run Campground Youghiogheny, PA

Any info on this campground? It looks like there are 2 sections, one with electric and one without. How far apart are the 2 sections?

My brother has a tent site in the non-electric section. I don't want to be too far away.

Is this campground big rig friendly (both sections)?

See my post under CG reviews for this COE park. When we were there a couple of years ago, the Tub Run CG in my opinion was not accessible especially in a MH. Go to the Out Flow park, you have to go by it to get to the Tub Run park anyway. The fishing is located at the Outflow park also. The OutFlow park is not the most maintained COE Park I've been in, but it is okay for a couple of days to do some fishing. Have a good trip. s/Toby

When I was booking a site, there were 2 areas for Tub Run. One had electric and was further out. Is that the Out Flow park, or is that something else?

I do not remember. The only thing I remember was that Tub run Park you had to go up this narrow winding paved two lane road right past Outflow and the CG looked like it only had sites for tent campers. Maybe I didn't see the park with the electric. I think I would call 814/395-3242 and ask the lady about Tub Run. If you are planning on fishing, I would stay at the lower Outflow park. s/Toby

I've tried calling, but the number was busy. I'll keep trying.

On Recreation.gov, they show the electric sites in the upper part. Some are over 40' long.

I reserved a site in the lower section near the water. It has no hookups. The site I reserved is 54' long.

I won't have a toad, so I hope I'll be able to manuever through there.
