I've been reading a bit on RV parks in Tunica. It sounds like Sam's may not be the place to stay. Grand Casino sounds like the nicest in terms of appearance, but is a few dollars more per night. Hollywood might be acceptable but it sounds like the sites are a bit crowded.
I've never been to any of them. I am interested in spending several days there in early May. I intend to get in a bit of golf and some much needed relaxation.
Of Hollywood and Grand which would those who have been there recommend?

My choice is the Grand having stayed there about three times. Have never stayed at Hollywood or Sams but have been through them. The Grand seems to have more space and grass around your campsite. It is farther from the Casino but they do have a shuttle bus every 15 minutes or so. The Grand also has their own golf course but I haven't played there.

Tom & Barb,
Can't help with Tunica RV Parks, but noticed you live in Kalamazoo. We are from Kalamazoo, and are planning a trip up in June for my sister's wedding. We are taking the motorhome so that we can go up to Muskegon & Pentwater areas after the wedding festivities. Wondered if you know of any campgrounds near Kalamazoo or Portage!?!? We have a 40' MH. Any suggestions would be appreciated!
Thanks,
Michele

We stayed at Sam's last fall and found it to be just fine. Plenty of room for a 40 footer and good electric. It is a full hook up park. Cheaper than the Grand and I believe than Hollywood. I don't keep a record of fees but one of the couples we were traveling with said it was cheaper than the Grand for sure and maybe a $1 difference from Hollywood.
Interesting area but sure is spread out. Enjoy.

Sounds like very good RV facilities in Tunica. Might drop down from Memphis on our way east. I looks like hwy 61 is multi-lane. Thanks for all the comments.

Thank you all for your resonses. I was hoping someone might also have some information on the golf courses. We will likely choose the Grand as they have a shuttle that will also take me to the golf course if we don't rent a car.
Mike and Michele, I sent you a pm about our area.
