Tybee Island, Rv park and Beach

We just got home from a great weekend on Tybee Island! It was our first time going to Tybee Island, and we loved it! If you don't mine riding a bike, the RV park is three long blocks from the beach, but worth the trip! The camp ground was call Rivers End Campground, it is own and run by the city of Tybee Island. The hot spot is down the beach about 3 mile, they have a electric cart that will take you anywhere on the island for 3 dollars a person. Golf carts are rented for 70 dollars for 24 hours. We chose to ride our bikes and though afterwards we made the correct choice. The beach was wide and not crowed on the north end of the island, down by the pier and pavilion midday it was packed!
We have always gone to North Myrtle Beach for camping and beach fun, but this has us saying we are going to come back to Tybee island instead of North Myrtle Beach, it's about the same mileage but just a little quicker to drive because of the interstate driving.
