We're heading out next Wednesday for the big bridge and UP of Michigan with intermediate stops for several days each in Lexington, Ky and Shipshewanna, In. The plans are to do the south shore of Lake Superior then head west. Want to make it to Yellowstone and the Tetons, with a stop to visit the grandkids in Rapid City. Maybe the gas prices will steady a bit?
Not to worry.

Sound like a great trip. In May we did the same trip only we started here in the UP. Our timing was perfect as we returned home just ahead of all the tornados and flooding. If you are going to spend much time in the UP, bring warm clothes! Global warming has missed us so far. High today was 59 degrees! Enjoy the trip.
