That is the route I would normally recommend too. However, the state did some "improvements" several years ago and now the backups are terrible during rush hours.



Also, the state is constructing a new exchange on 475 and will be doing some road widening on 475.


Just be ready for some slow going. I personally prefer this route to following I75

Well my recommendation, if you have a facebook account follow Yooper Pasty, and Pasty Central. Both sites will feed you an eclectic view of da UP, eh!
