Upper Peninsula with 32’ RV no toad

We will be traveling to the UP in October in our 32’ Motorhome without a toad. We plan on hiking many trails, especially trails to see waterfalls. My concern is which trailheads we will be able to park at. Any advice on where we can and can’t go is greatly appreciated. Our plans so far are to camp at Aune-Osborne, Twelve mile Beach, and Presque Isle River. We only have 4 full days this trip, but plan too see as much as possible

Here are some waterfalls in the UP:

I think you'll have to investigate each stop you want to make for hiking and the waterfalls to see what the road and parking will be. There are a lot of logging roads up there.

Personally, I'd take a toad vehicle to go scouting around for the waterfalls.

I'd take a toad also. My experience is not much parking at trail heads in the UP. Also the roads to the waterfalls can be rough on a 32 ft motorhome.

Tahquamenon Falls State Park has parking for your rig, and is open to camping all year long. Adequate road to get there even in winter, and you can hike between the upper and lower falls.

I do not have the option of taking a toad since we haven't purchased one yet. For now I just have to research to see where we can and can't go. Went to Utah in June and made it fine without one.
