US OPEN - Pebble Beach - Monterey, CA

Looks like I have the good fortune to attend the US OPEN Golf Championship at Pebble Beach this June!

Hopefully I can find something that isnít already reserved, but need some input on what is around there to stay? I have looked at apps for campgrounds, but would like opinion on your suggestions.

24í Class C without toad so can fit almost anywhere...

Moss Landing KOA is good. About 20 minute drive.

Marina is closer than Moss Landing to stay at. Might want to check that out as well.

You might find something in the Seaside area which is even closer than Marina but not sure if there are any RV parks there.

Moss Landing!!! A short walk to three wonderful restaurants, the beach, and all the charm of the harbor at your door step. Oh, and home made cookies! When you eat at Phills you can literally be enjoying crab and clam chowder with your favorite beverage on the beach! not to be missed!

Check out Laguna Seca Raceway.
The sites have water and electric only. There is a dump station.
There was an issue with non potable water (cannot ingest) but it was okay to shower and wash dishes with. Sounds crazy but we and numerous others used the water with no ill effects.

Itís close to everything in that area and is a lot cheaper than most other options.

Good luck with your search.

Full hookups in Monterey. We've stayed there four times. Close to the airport, you can wave to the pilots as they fly over the campground to land.

The Elks lodge in Monterey also has an RV park for Elks members.

We worked as volunteers at the AT&T several years ago. I got to drive Kevin Costner in the Golf Cart I was driving to haul various people. Nice guy.

Failure to plan on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part.
