Utah fall colors

We are considering a trip to the Utah high country around the Provo - Park City area to view the fall colors. Looking for possible areas, approximate time to be there. Any suggestions?

The end of September should be good. Rockport State park is close to the action in Park City.

I'd look into just running up into the Ski Canyons - Big and Little Cottonwood Canyons just out of Sandy.

RT 39 up by Ogden would be nice - or RT 189 up to Sundance - All should be Beautiful in the Last weeks of September - been some talk of an Early fall in the Rockies this year so just need to be Flexible and stay informed.

And of Course the entire Park City area and RT 40 should offer many opportunities. Elevation is the Key to the Color, IMHO.

Take pictures and Share with those of us who miss your trip - LOTS of Pictures
