In support of the poster who recommended the Rocky Mountains, I've attached a picture of where we camped last weekend. That's our Bounder Classic 34B with my wife's car in front. The mountains in the background are the Sangre de Cristo range, and the location was Grape Creek RV Park, just south of Westcliffe, Colorado.

I figured a picture is worth a thousand words.

We've stayed at Crossing Creeks in Blairsville GA. Brand new upscale resort close to many mountains including Brasstown Bald, highest in GA. We just bought a lot at Choestoe Falls RV Park just S of Blairsville. Couple parks nearby have lots for rent or sale. I love cycling and moto bike riding the mountain gaps and N GA and nearby corners of NC and TN make NE GA a great base.

I can 2nd both Riverbend in Hiawassee GA and River Vista in Dillard GA.

However, I'd go to Swannanoa NC (East Asheville area) and stay at Mama Gertie's. We
were in Candler NC (west Asheville) this weekend for a wedding, so drove through Mama Gertie's to take a look. Very nice. We hope to go back there soon to stay.
