Washington and Oregon Fishing Lakes

Looking for recommendation for a mid to late October trip in either state. We have a 41 ft dp towing a wrangler so we would prefer a camping location that has pull thru sites with full hook up or at least 30 amp electric.. The site does not have to be on the lake. Ideally it would have good shore fishing or boat rentals. Thanks.

In north central WA, Sun Lakes is a good area. It has a small lake, is near a number of lakes, I have stayed there many times. The resort side has rental boats, small golf course, restaurant.
There are many lakes in WA and OR. Fishing is not great.
Weather is good in eastern WA.

Here are the lakes. You'll have to find the RV park!

Just do a Google for many more links. Good luck. Depends on what kind of fishing you want to do. Lakes usually require a boat. Streams do not.

Lake Chelan Wa. Huge rainbows, Kokanee, Walleye and more.
Several boat rental outfits and lots of Rv camping opportunities available.
Lots to do there.

Any lake in Eastern Washington .

For us , Lake Roosevelt is the BEST !

Camping , 2 Rivers RV Park and Marina . Big pull throughs with amazing views .Located on a bluff overlooking the confluence of the Spokane River and Lake Roosevelt . It's across from historical Fort Spokane . Great restrooms , showers and laundry.

Marina , rental boats and house boats . Fuel Dock and Store. Free boat launch with site rental .

Fishing , Large and Small Mouth Bass , Lake and Rainbow Trout , Perch , Huge Walleye , Kokanee and Sturgeon .

While cruising the lake keep and eye out for Big Horn Sheep , Bear , Deer and Turkeys .

Things to do , Visit the Grand Collee Dam . Run up Hawk Creek , through the " hole in the wall " which opens into a small valley that leads to a water fall at the end in a box canyon . While on the lake look in awe at the vista's , some of the most spectacular landscapes in the world. Cruise to White Rock , a 300' verticle granite wall that runs straight down to a depth of 200' .

Definitely worth the trip.

X2 or 3

Lake FDR is my front yard. Retired in 99 and built a house above the lake. Had owed property in Lincoln county since 1980. We sold the house last Aug but still have an acre with 40x60 pole building with a day room and bath and kitchen 2 RV sites. Just chillin at the Lake till this Covid thing blows over.

Some of the BEST fishing and hunting in the state. 151 miles from Grand Coulee Dam to the Canadian borer.
