Wax campground, near Clarkson, KY

Hello,

We're planning on heading to the campground next week and am looking for input on the drive in and surrounding area.

We're in a 40' Renegade pulling a CR-V. Can't tell a lot from the Google maps and other sites, but the drive from Clarkson down to Wax doesn't look bad.

Any got any experience with the area?

Thanks in advance.

Stayed a couple days near there (Dog Creek CG ) in 2019) The highway leading in from Western Kentucky Parkway is your typical good condition highway with 10’ lanes no big climbs or small radius curves that I recall. About 14 miles from parkway to Wax IIRC.
