I would chime it but Busskipper has already said what I would say!

He did leave out that if you are 25 years old and think you are invincible you would chose to make the drive to Ouray or Ridgeway after the reception. Those of us who have matured enough to have attained a little WISDOM would find a way to spend the night after the reception in or near Telluride.

Sorry............that would not really be what I'd call Helpful - more like Crazy.
I'm not sure where this is coming from. I mentioned Priest Gulch CG as a great place to camp, and I'm pretty sure the OP didn't say anything about traveling at night to anywhere. Priest Gulch is south of Telluride on 145 - paved and curvy and because of all the animals, not recommended for night travel.

I think it was someone else that mentioned staying in Ouray... If the OP wanted to stay there and travel that route(550, 62 & 145) into Telluride, those roads are scenic but again, not to be traveled at night...best to hotel in Telluride for the night if that was the plan.

I don't believe I said anything about traveling the Jeep road from Telluride to Ouray after the wedding or reception at night...why would anyone do that, couldn't see anything anyway? The OP also mention a couple of weeks for the trip...that should be enough time for a few day trip adventures.
