What a Trip!

We left Florida, headed for Mt Rushmore, just ahead of the tropical depression.
Never thought it was going to amt to anything, but drove in solid rain for five days, Finally made it to Pine Bluff Ar, in clear sunshine. Sure enough, it rained so hard, ankle deep all around the camper next morning. As we progressed on into Nebraska, found that every campground from the Ks line thru S Dak is booked solid thru July 4th. I thought with a week advanced notice we'd find something available. The only thing we could find was Alma Ne City Park. We could stay thru the 4th, so figured we better do it. It ain't much, and it ain't cheap, and the closest laundromat is 25 miles., but @ least we ain't dry camping in a Wal-Mart parking lot! Every cg we have been in or looked at on this trip has been occupied by about 90% permanent, We've seen everything from permanent decks to roof-overs. No wonder you can't find a campsite!
Maybe, cgs should be limited to 50% perms to give the rest of us a chance.

In Custer, try The Roost RV Resort. Small campground, but they usually aren't full, and it is a great part.

That's funny, because I haven't had to even use my moho wipers in 9 months!

I feel for you OldMan.
