What's going on at The RV Park at Circus Circus

Does anyone know what is going on at The RV Park at Circus Circus?

They are showing sold out from Feb 8th through the end of the month and do not have any availability calendars past February.

Wonder if it has anything to do with the Raiders coming to town.

They said they are re-branding to Treasure Island and will not know until February if the park is staying open.

When I called 2 months ago asking why February was sold out I was told it was because of ConExpo.

I'm aware, guessing maybe they start bringing their heavy equipment to town in February and needed a lace to store it?

What I do know is we are trying to meet up with Son and his Wife and originally wanted Feb 15 - 29 but because they sold out we switched to Jan 18 - Feb 1. Now the Son has an issue he has to deal with at home and can't do January so we were looking at March knowing February was already done.

I attended several ConExpo events over the years and yes, equipment is staged everywhere weeks prior to the event. ConExpo is really something to see if you're a utility/construction equipment geek like me.

Circus Circus did sell out. I expect the whole operation to be on the demolish and replace list before long as old as it is.

So stay somewhere else. There's plenty of options. I like the Oasis RV Resort myself.

Oasis RV Resort is very nice, but a 1-1/2 hour walk to the strip and we would be going twice a day. We like walking but not that much.

Oasis RV Resort would work once we have a toad, but we are not there yet.

Would Uber, taxi, rental car work? We have used these options when a long trip, week stay, and long trip back made taking a toad not worth it.

Uber could get expensive (there are 2 different couples with different agendas)

Main Street Station RV Park however may work as I believe the trolley goes up to Freemont street.

Has anyone stayed at Main Street Station RV Park? I am yet to find any information on the park.
