Where are you going for Christmas?

Last year we surprised the kids with Christmas in Killington, Vermont (we are officially winter ski bums!). I picked up the RV at 5am and had it loaded before they even woke up. Their last present was new ski goggles. We then had them close their eyes and led them outside. When they saw the camper they said "so?", but when we explained our surprise trip it was amazing. You have never seen two girls get so much cleaned and ready in one hour!!

This year we are heading south to Key West. The kids still don't know; it's part of their Christmas surprise. I am having them pack warm and cold gear to get them thoroughly confused!

Where is everyone else going?

Where am I going.. Well.. We have not yet decided.

1: Poor house
2: Crazy (it's a short trip)

Seriously.. I'm parked for the winter in South Carolina.. and that's where we are going to stay.. No friends in the area.. (At least not prior to parking 2 weeks ago) but we are making some rather fast.. Joined the church choir (Which for us is a very good thing, we both love singing God's Praises) and it's a nice park.. Bit colder than I like but still not too cold.. No worries about the motor home's water lines.. Just the parks and the outside hose.

Our first RV Christmas will be spent enroute to our Winter destination, Treasure Coast RV Resort in Fort Pierce Florida. Not exactly sure where we'll be on Christmas Day, but thinking it will be somewhere in the Ocala Fl area.

Merry Christmas, Everyone

Leaving today for Mauai, Hawaii. Have found a good place to park the motorhome, just can't find an economical way to get it over there.
Seriously, we are going there. Our grandaughter invited us to spend a couple of weeks for the holidays. They are a military family, and are stationed there. Hey, they had Christmas at our house last year, and were obligated to return the favor, what can I say?
Merry Christmas, happy holidays, or whatever else you choose to celebrate the season.

Left Las Vegas last Saturday, where the coach will stay parked in Nellis AFB RV Park. It was 50 degrees when we left and went through 100's of miles of snow and ice covered roads from SLC to Pocatello, ID. It got down to -29 at home the first of the week with lots of snow so my buns are chilled. I feel Christmas in Yuma wouldn't be a bad idea. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to everyone.

I'm staying home with my youngest son, daughter-in-law and new grand-daughter. My son has to work (works for the Venetian Hotel & Casino). He wanted us to go to California to be with the rest of the family but we said, "NO WAY! We're NOT leaving you home alone on your daughters first Christmas!". We'll have a few hours together on Christmas morning

Christmas in Georgia

Our son is getting married on Dec 27 in Savannah, GA so we are leaving SC on Christmas Day(please, no blowouts or problems) and going to Skidaway Island State Park in Savannah. We had planned on heading back up the SC coast after the wedding to Hunting Island State Park or Edisto Island State Park but, alas, there are no vacancies so we will be at Skidaway until the 2nd. We have never stayed there but it looks beautiful in the pictures so we are excited just to get away for a while.
Only reason we were planning to move was to get out on the beach so I could do some fishing and wife could walk on the beach and look for shells, so we will drive over to Tybee Island to do that. (The campgroud at Tybee is full also!)
Look us up if anone is in the area.
