They are very nice pics. I really like the Aspens. Then again I got a yard full of them, because I do like them lots.

Give us another image to guess.

Buskipper, I keep coming back to your photo of the aspens. It is beautiful. You have a great eye.

Here's a pair of pictures. Taken in just about the same place, just a slightly different angle to help identify. If you've been there before, you'll know it. They aren't great pictures, but it was raining and foggy so I had pretty bad conditions for pictures. Wait, are those trolls? No, surely not, but it's definitely a hint.

I'm going to guess those are north Oregon coast basalts. If so, the rocks suggest north of Lincoln City, near Cannon Beach.

That's a good guess. It is a basalt beach, but that's not Oregon's coast. You're close, but oh so far.

You're on the right track. It is an island country like that, but is in the Northern Hemisphere. Trolls on a basalt beach... There can't be many beaches with trolls on them.

OK, I'd now guess Iceland. Never been there, lack of good access roads getting there, so I'm not sure if they trolls or not. But should have black basaltic sand.
