Cracker Barrels have been very pleasant to overnight at. Good food too.

Most Corps of Engineers campgrounds are full hookup and under $20. Just google COE campgrounds. Some of the nicest parks we have seen.

Reason I asked this was coming down from Wisconsin to Myrtle Beach we stopped at the Georgia welcome center to spend the nite at around 10;30 at nite only to be woken up at midnight someone banging on my door. Well needless to say my wife was not only upset but scared so we waited until it stopped the quickly drove off,we will never do that again

Most welcome centers and rest areas do not allow overnight parking. Overnight Parking Rules – Interstate Rest Areas

I love to camp at the casinos overnight, especially those with buffets. On the other hand it ends up being an expensive campsite sometimes. 😁

Walmart is always your easiest choice. It’s our #1 choice when traveling from point A to point B.

Google: Days End which is a sub group of the Escapees. 900+ page online document of places to park for a night or longer for free or a small fee. Updated and released 4-5 times a year. I've been using it for 18 years, and love it.
Once you download it, you can refer to it when the apps are out of range of a cell tower.

At the COE’s, what size rig will they accommodate, typically?

Traveling NJ to Fl we like Cracker Barrel. They have rv spots and company policy is to let you stay overnight. Plus no trucks although you might be next to a highway. Also just stayed in rest area in South Carolina last week with no problem on our return from Fl. Fl rest areas are also good. Have stayed in plenty of Walmarts, Home Depot, Churches and Marinas in New England without any problems. Sometimes just need to ask.
