Where to stay in Orlando area with new coach
Buying a new coach in Winter Garden, previously owned. Would like to spend a few nights in the not so distant proximity while we test everything out before hitting the road back to NH for a few nights.
Any recommendations on places to consider? 43' unit, will not be towing a dinghy car so will be mostly confined to the campground unless we were to Uber. Thought about Disney campground but kids won't be with us so not a huge deal.

You might want to try Lake Louisa State Park on US highway 27 south of Clermont. It has full hook ups and the campground is big enough to accommodate your coach. Nice quiet place to relax and check out your new RV. Safe Travels and enjoy!

Take a look a Bees RV Resort. We have stayed there a couple of times as we pass thru. Also there is a camper RV sales across the road just in case you needed a small part while your there. Enjoy

Right on Hwy 50 in Winter Garden there is a CG. Can't remember the name but it's next to my favorite store-Harbor Freight and across the street from Giant RV.

Thanks for the suggestions. The state park looks very nice and surprising you can get larger rigs in there too.

You probably won't find a site at Lake Louisa on the website. They do however have a few walk in sites, so just drive in.

Kissimmee KOA is a great place to camp. Easy access sites that can accommodate the largest rigs out there. Plus the full hook up sites will allow you to test/run all of your systems. Nice place with great amenities too.

Any recommendations heading North from Winter Garden, maybe on the coast with sea view sites? Looking to get a few hours driving once we pick up the new RV and then spend a few days getting acclimated to it. Maybe 2-3 hours tops from the Orlando area.

Gamble Rogers State Park - On the beach with beach view
Anastatia State Park - on the beach behind the dunes - no beach view
Fort Clinch State Park - on the beach - may or may not have water view
You may be luck and find an open site in one of those or:
North Beach Camp Resort in St Augustine - on the beach

Thank you. Stumbled on the state parks last night. All look full already. Will check out the others you mentioned.

Near Universal and the Turnpike / I4 is a city park with an RV park, you need to call to find out about availability. Bill Fredrick park at Turkey Lake.
We didn't get a spot when we wanted because its nice, small and very inexpensive. So we did our first night in our new RV at walmart.

You might want to check out Salt Springs Recreation Area. Full Hookups and a spring to swim in. There is a small marina just across the springs that rents boats... makes for a nice trip down the run for a few hours. I just looked and there are many sites available now that the snow birds are heading back......
Another option is St. Augustine. Stage Coach RV is a wide open park,,, easy to get into/out of sites. It is right off the interstate, so it's a few miles to town if you want to check out the sights. St. Augustine is one of our favorite places to visit.
Did you get the coach at Independence RV?
