Never Again!

My addition to the list would be: "Top "O" the Caves" campground in Hocking Hills Ohio. (June 2018)

This place was OLD with no updates. The worst part was the shower house. I was surprised to see cigarette butts IN the shower stall, used Q-Tips and empty shampoo bottles on the bench. I checked the other stalls and found a lot of rust and mold. The showers had old nasty pull ropes to turn on the water - no hot or cold adjustments. And, that was the newer shower house, that a friendly maintenance man suggested we use. The area we were in looked like it was all people that lived there.

The area was nice, but NO money had been put back into this place for a long time.

Never again.

Which Campground Would You Never Go Back To? (Pt 2)

Great thread. Good info. This should never close. Where is part 1?

Two places only, in six years.
1. Delaware Water Gap KOA, in East Stroudsburg, PA. Stopped for an overnight. Nice park, nice people, cute little store, beauty scenery. Site was so poorly graded my front wheels were near a foot off the ground when level. The whole stretch of 8-10 spots was the same. Mentioned it to the desk; answer: that’s not too bad, or words to that effect. This was five years ago, so it may have changed, but we’ve been through the area several times since and gone elsewhere.

2. Nope, I decided not to mention this one. Checked the aerial view and the website, and it appears this park has changed management and cleaned things up considerably.
