Who's on the move and what are you seeing?

Our big trip this year was unfortunately cancelled do to the pandemic and getting all our cancellation $$ from California to the east coast wasn't fun.
We've decided to try an abbreviated trip up to the Utah/Idaho area instead and I'm wondering what people are presently encountering on their journeys and what they're planning on possibly encountering along the way as the summer wears on.
I realize nobody has a crystal ball, so I'm more interested in what folks are finding traveling at the moment.
We have 31' Class C and are thinking of 3 routes using as much dispersed camping as possible.

1. US-395/US-95
2. I-15N/US-93N
3. I-15N/I-84W
4. Some variation of these routes for return trip.

If you look at the news regarding this being, 'the year of the RV', coupled with ongoing virus concerns and add in people saying reservations in private campgrounds need to be made a year in advance things don't seem too rosy.
So...what's everyone seeing presently?
Thanks in advance.

We're not moving yet because of what we may run into out there. I'll be glad when this virus thing is declared mostly over.

Who's on the move and what are you seeing?

We just made a loop from Indiana -> Phoenix -> Indiana via I-40 and returned through Utah and I-70 across Colorado. Trip was mainly to move daughter back home from grad school so we just enjoyed the scenic sights from the windshield.
We only made reservations at the KOA outside Mesa just to make sure we had a place close.
1. Highways were busy
2. Campgrounds varied from 50-75% full. Majority were 50% full.
3. Only had problems getting campground Friday night of Memorial Weekend around St. Louis, MO.
4. All the campgrounds had Social Distancing practices in place for staff.

We are on the plains of northwestern Nebraska. Ft Robinson near Crawford to be exact. Headed to the black hills of South Dakota. Seeing many landmarks and in awe of the open plains. We visited many historical places. We really enjoyed the fur trappers museum where we seen an authentic original trading post. More to come today. Click image for larger version
