Wichita, Ks RV Parks
Hoping to join relatives for Wichita's Riverfest first week of June. We have stayed at Air Capital twice when just passing through. Seemed well managed and well cared for, although there were quite a few long term contractor/ working folks there each time. Assuming there may be even more now. Any other suggestions that might work??

Don't know about Wichita, but if your plans include Dodge City I highly recommend Gunsmoke RV Park. Clean, nice sites and friendly folks. Close to downtown and the Boot Hill Casino.
Cheers

I guess I don't understand your problem. Stay at Air Capital.

You never know when someone "local" can give good insight. But thanks anyway.

We're in KC & have family in Wichita & have been staying at Air Capital since they opened. Early on it was a park to brag on but you are correct it is now less of a RV park and more a home to contractors. Nothing wrong at all with a park full of contractors I'm glad to see Air Capital doing so well. We tried the KOA in Wellington KS a few years ago & liked it. Only knock is it is about a half hour south of Wichita. Pic below is the KOA. Very nice quiet place to come home to after a full day with family.

Hey hey! I live in Wichita and can help!
Agree with your review of Air Capital.
I personally have stayed a month at USI RV Park and highly recommend it if you are just looking for a clean and safe place to stay. All gravel, full hook ups, clean bathouse and on North side of town. Nothing scenic, but we'll kept.

I also suggest looking at All Seasons. West of town and outside city. I have not stayed here, but driven through it and seemed well maintained.

Let me know if you have any more questions. Happy to help a fellow RV owner!
