We know many folks who do not like extended travel. They have their house, lot, and maybe a workshop to keep themselves to occupied.

Some folks are like me. And I wonder why I have a house and so much stuff.

We do go on weekend trips during the year, however I want to go on longer trips, like we did when the kids were younger.

What are your thoughts, suggestions, etc.?

Folks change, got to accept that. Good time for a visit with a licensed clinical social worker/marriage counselor so this issue doesn't eat either of ya. Try to find a common bond thru that counseling. Much cheaper & way less painful then a divorce.

The OP answered in reply #141. If you search and read some of his other posts they are doing just fine and traveling.

This is an old post.

Just as you said before a few posts back TwoGypsies, this is an older post, but some of us are enjoying seeing it now, and maybe missed it before. Personally I've found it quite interesting looking at all different angles of relationships folks deal with over various years together, and how most finally reach "their" compromise. Hopefully more folks will add to it as well
