Winter break trip

Hello! Looking to get out of Kansas City over the Christmas break and get somewhere warm. Any recommendations south in or around Texas that would make a great family trip?

Thanks
Aaron

Gulf State Park, Alabama is an awesome place for a family vacation... lots to do in the area and nice Christmas festivities/decorations in the area. However, check about how much damage from the recent hurricane and storms have caused. I know the long pier was cut in half. This goes for any of the coastal towns in the recent storms. Good luck finding your spot!!
