I am looking for a camground in the southern part of Florida that we can stay at with my Class A in January & February. I wouldn't mind staying at several different ones but don't want to have to pay enough to buy the site while I'm there. Any suggestions on parks & rates would be appreciated.

There are a few Passport America campgrounds that offer some sort of discount during the winter months. Most have restrictions, read their details carefully.

We found a place in Juno Beach RV Park, where my brother owns a house in Jupiter, but I think we're paying enough to buy the place...

There are a ton of campground/resorts in the Southern part of Florida .... On the West coast you might want to look at
Sun N Fun in Sarasota/Brandenton
Riverside RV Resort in Port Charlotte
Up River Campground in N. Fort Myers
Cypress Woods in Fort Myers
Bonita Lake RV Resort in Bonita Springs

Mostly wherever you go the longer you stay the more reasonable the rates are. Use your first season in Fl as a look around and inspect time. Personally check out the other parks in the areas you are staying in. Do not go by the brochures, they can make the worse campgrounds look good. Call before you reserve and ask specific questions ie: how large are the sites what is on the ground dirt or grass, are streets and sites paved etc. Check out other web sites for "campground reviews". Very cheap rv parks sometimes usually are the ones you drive in and then drive out of very quickly.

There is a nice RV park in Naples, just off I-75 before you cross Alligator alley, Exit 101.
Club Naples RV Resort--888-795-2780. We stay there about twice a year, then drive the Toad to miami for my wife's Dr. appointment. We have always liked this park,
It is a Passport America, but they don't honor PA rates during Jan, Feb, March. Call them and find out about long term rates.
