Wisconsin Dells
Boy I am kind of afraid to post this after the comment on the post for help with park in Minnestoa. Oh by the way I looked at RV Reviews
Having been raised in Wi but have not visited the Dells in many years thought I would ask for ideas on parks. The KOA is really proud of their park, as the others close did not get good reviews. Any thoughts? Looking at Natures Touch, and Western Woods.
Thanks for the help

A few years ago, we stayed at the Country Roads Motorhome & RV Park just outside of the Dells. It's a unique layout with all of the row in concentric circles. It's not a fancy resort, but a nice place for a few days. There is a Wal Mart just across the highway for easy shopping. Be sure to do one of the river cruises.

If it's just adults 21 & over then I would suggest Edge O Dells...I go there 3 times a year. It's a very unique campground with great amenities & here's their site...it's the adults only campground in Wisconsin check it out at www.edgeodells.com

Fox Hills in Baraboo a few miles from the Dells was our favorite getaway for years. It's off a country road into nice wooded areas and toned down but plentiful activities including a pool and swimming pond with a beach.
We used to stay in the Dells itself but the campgrounds there are like airports in major cities. Yeah, you can have campfires and there is a quiet time and there's also security guards patrolling on foot for a reason.

If you don't need FHU's have you considered Mirror Lake State Park? No pool but a beach on the lake and nice trails for you and Max. Plus one of the trails goes to Ishnala supper club.

Check Ho Chunk casino in Baraboo. Incredibly easy access, newer park, nice facilities, and more than reasonable cost.

Thanks warhorse6. I am glade someone posted about Ho Chunk. I see that they have two parks one being the family park north of the dells and then the one at the casino.
At least the price is more reasonable than the other parks in the area. It looked good from google maps. Thanks for info will most likely stay there.

Pine View Campground at Fort McCoy in the Dells area is one of our favorites in the state. Nice camp sites, well spaced with lots of room and very well run. Check it out, it is one of our favorites in Wisconsin. We live in Waukesha, WI, so we have been to quite a few campgrounds in the state. I think in the Dells area, this is definitely our favorite.
