These rest areas are supposed to reopen by Memorial Day May 31+(2021).

Lusk on U.S. Highway 18 )
Guernsey on U.S. Highway 26
Greybull on U.S. Highway 16
Moorcroft on Interstate 90
Star Valley on U.S. Highway 89
Sundance on Interstate 25
Upton on U.S. Highway 16
Orin Jct on I-25
Chugwater on I-25

They were closed last year (2020).

Good news, I’m heading out west end of June

we're in WY now crossing east-to-west on I-80. all of the official rest areas, truck only parking areas and general parking areas (no services on the last two) were open...and crowded...except one and it was under re-construction.

Unfortunately Dad was working Oilfield in Kemmer and got to read about his son being in accident....hit my speeding teenager as I was riding my bicycle on 11th street by Washington Park
