Yuma, AZ

Hi. Any suggestions for a nice, safe, pet-friendly park in the foothills in Yuma for a couple of nights this month. I know they are busy.....thank you!

I have not been to Yuma, but just booked at The Palms. We have big dogs and not all parks welcome the big pups!

We spent 5 nights at The Palms in Yuma, AZ. It is very dog friendly. There are two fenced dog yards, one for small dogs and one for large dogs. There was also two unfenced grassy areas and pebbly trails around the perimeter of the property. There is a dog bathtub, it was raised with no steps so no go for the big guys. The resort is very nice, wide sites with large concrete patio. Very level. it is a gated community with 24 hr security, pools, spas, shuffle board, etc. The park is a mix of rental sites, owned RV sites and park models (or villas no like any park model I had seen!). The Palms is very close to The Yuma Marketplace, but not much else. it is on the east side of Mesa.

Don't worry about space every park has openings. Just left the Palms after a month, have stayed in several parks. Just look for something in your price range. If only staying a couple of days Fortuna De Oro has pull thru spots right next to dog park.

Fortuna De Oro was giving out free stay coupons at Quartzite good for 3 nights. You might ask them if they will also comp you since you are a first time visitor.
We had a pull-thru right next to the very nice dog park for our 1 night. Large enough we didn't have to unhitch our toad.
We are now at The Palms for 3 weeks....this place is awesome.
