Yuma RV park help

We are heading south sson and are wondering if you folks can tell us of a park in Yuma area that might not be totally booked up for Feb. And March. We thought we were not going to be able to make the trip but plans changed. Now behind the 8 ball. Yes, I can start calling but there are SOOO many parks.....

As a back up if the parks are full just drive around the Foothills area and you’ll find quite a few lots for rent. We’ve stayed on private lots in the Foothills several times as we still have an old Rottweiler that many parks do not allow.

Fortuna Del Ray “spelling?” On east side will probably have room since they have something like 1200 sites. Nice park but not cheap.

Fortuna del Oro is a nice park and part of Cal Am. I really like Westwind which is the sister park of Rio Bend in El Centro, Ca

Westwind has a great pool with actual pool side service, a small golf course, restaurant, pickle ball and accepts Passport America even in the peak seasons of Jan-March.

There are also a ton of Encore parks which all offer special package pricing for stays of 3-6 months. We prefer Yuma to the crowds and traffic which is the Phoenix area.

All good suggestions, come to Fortuna Del Oro stay in a transit spot for a few days. Check around see what and where you like. Plenty of choices in Yuma .

Stayed at The Palms for a week this last April. Nice resort, great facilities, behind a wall with a wonderful walking path, dog friendly, activities, activites, activites. The only down side is that all the sites are gravel. This is a newer resort maybe 10 years old. It was very reasonable in April but more expensive in the winter months.

We did this, found a nice spot, even had a shed with w/d..great area, and easy drive to town, and the border.

Thanks, all. got a spot at Carefree Village. Also got a call about one at The Palms; had already booked. So apparently there are few left here and there.
