2014 EAA Airventure, Oshkosh WI

We'll be driving up and getting there Sunday, July 27, I read on another thread that we should be prepared for a long line, though we've prepaid already so we may be able to cut it.

DW flew in in the '80's, she said it was a blast! We're looking forward to going.

We were there a couple year ago. We stayed at a private RV park that adjoins the EAA grounds.

Great time we were there all week. I don't think you will have any trouble with line getting in.

Stew,

Your prepayment will get you through registration faster, but won't help you with whoever is in line ahead of you. They've been doing this for a long time, however, and the line will move right along.

If you've never been, you're not going to believe the size and scope of the event. If you have bikes you can travel with, they'll come in handy for getting you from your campsite to the entry gate (you can't take them into the show areas). Hopefully you have some light weight lawn chairs that will be easy to carry down to the flight line for the air shows.

You'll never be at a loss for something to do or see.

Enjoy!

We've been here since Sunday, it's a blast! The line did not materialize, we had two RV's ahead of us and then we were in. We're at the corner of 28th and Lindbergh, right on the shuttle line but close enough to walk or bike to things.

Have a great time at the show, so far the weather has been good for you other than the little rain last evening.
I live about 15 min. from the show site and yet never been to the show.
