Take warm clothes, and layer if you plan to walk around in the field among the balloons. It is cold before daylight when the balloons are staging. I wore a backpack to carry those extra layers of clothes we removed as it warmed up.
IMO the added cost of that parking ares is offset by not having to deal with the horrendous traffic jams morning and night.
