Crusin The Coast

Any of you car guys headed to Mississippi for Crusin The Coast? We will be leaving Dallas on 9/28. Looking forward to getting the car out for some crusing. Sure hope the weather holds.

We haven't been to a cruising in a few year. Sure brings back memories to see all of those old cars and the "good old days" they represented. Hope the weather is good for you'll.

My wife and I along with another couple in their rv plan to get there on 10/9. We've been there the last 4 years. Biloxi/Gport is only 160 miles from us. My wife drives our '37 Chevy over and I follow in our rv. We dry camp along Hwy 90.

Do you have a spot picked out along Hwy 90? We have been going there every year since 1998. We have 4 lots rented on Hwy 90 next to Cruse Central Stop by if you get a chance . We will have the Silver 65 Cobra.

Ronnie,
Will you have any hookups? or dry camp. Cost? Last year we dry camped on a large paved lot, along with several others campers, about 1/2 mile west of the Gulfport Mall. I expect we'll stay there again this year.
I'll look you up. We'll have our Tundra gray '37 two door Chevy sedan.

We have stayed at Gulfhaven in Gulfport the last 3 three years, but they decided to double the rates during Crusin So we rented these lots right next to Cruse Central for the month . We will have 4 Motorhomes on them and they do have hook ups. It is going to cost us about $500 each for the month. Not a bad deal. Hope to see you .

I live within driving distance of cruisin. Hopefully I'll run into some of you while you here. Safe travels.

Ronnie,
We also stayed at Gulfhaven 4 years ago; also 3 years ago.
We had a dark blue '48 Ford coupe then. I sold it at last years show while we were parked at Edgewater Mall.
Is your Cobra the "real deal"?

We were at Gulfhaven the same time. We were always in #5 at the back of the park. I would have had my 1970 Orange AAR Cuda there at that time.
No, the Cobra is a replica. I did not have $1M to shell out for the real thing. So I built this one instead for less $$$. It is a lot of fun to drive and if you parked it next a real one you could not tell them apart
If you want to try to hook up let me know and I will get you my cell phone #.
