Daytona 500 - February 2015

We are thinking of checking off one of our items from the bucket list - camping in the infield at Lake Lloyd during the Daytona 500. Pricey, yes, but what the heck, you only live once!!

As I understand the price includes a reserved RV spot for the entire event and admission tickets for 2. You get electric (50 Amp), water and cable hookup. However, no dump. If we stay the full 10 days, we will most certainly need to dump the grey and black tanks.

How have others that have stayed in the infield handled full tanks? Did you drive the rig to a dump site off the grounds and then return or do they have roaming honey wagons?

Any information regarding this event would be greatly appreciated!!

We did the Lake Lloyd Daytona 500 in 2011... awesome experience! There are honey trucks that come around and pump you out so no worries about full tanks. If at all possible hold out for a lakefront vs. lakeview space, same price & a world of difference.
