FMCA Tucson 2022
We will be attending this event for the first time in 2022. Looking for any suggestions to make this a very positive experience for us.
Thanks in advance and looking forward to meeting some of you there.

Study the seminar program carefully and make sure you ear mark the ones most important to you.
Your spouse/significant other could well have a different list.

Be a volunteer. Monitor seminars, hand out coffee in the mornings, drive a activity cart. Good way to meet people. If you are an Elk, military veteran, full timer, join one of the chapters. Make sure you attend the first timers seminar and also the chapter fair.

Don has the best advice. There are so many seminars you probably will still miss some you like, so having spouses split up is necessary. After going to the Chapter Fair, join one of the chapters that interest you. Activity carts are great fun, but the Security volunteers monitor the seminars, and they need an awful lot of volunteers. Great way to connect with folks. Loom for the people with “Mentor” badge on their name tags. They can answer questions for you, and they volunteer specifically because they want you to have a good time.

DW & I are planning on attending this event. Can anyone explain the parking selections on the online registration form? It looks like for 30a or 50a electric service (FHU are sold out) there is an additional charge $195/$315. What does "ends at 11:30pm" mean? The power pedestals are shut down at that time? I'm hoping it is a typo. If I'm going to be paying extra I wouldn't like the power shut off during the night.

The last time I was at the fairgrounds there I don't remember any electric only sites so I assume they are using a big generator that will be shut down.

Last year in Gillette, WY, FMCA use an app called CrowdCompass Events. All activities were listed and you could mark events you wanted to attend. I just looked, Tucson events not posted as yet. App was a real help to us last year.
